It is with great regret that we report the death of Kevin Ash, who died yesterday (Tuesday) in an accident on a launch in South Africa. No further details have been released by BMW, whose launch Kevin was on at the time.
Kevin was at Fast Bikes when it was launched, and after spending a successful period at Motorcycle News continued to work for the magazine in a freelance capacity, regularly contributing detailed, but engaging, reports on new bikes and technical issues.

Enormously knowledgeable, opinionated, generous, and liked, time spent in Kevin’s company was always well spent – and shooting the breeze waiting for planes, track sessions, presentations and shuttle buses will never be the same again.
