Racing’s Injury List

So here’s the current injury list across the board. Racing’s tough, but it seems tougher than ever at the minute. Misano took its toll in WSB, with riders diving off left, right and centre. In MotoGP the shoulder and collar bone seem to be the injury de jour, while BSB seems to be faring fairly well, Stuart Easton’s accident notwithstanding… Here’s hoping for a safe weekend…

MotoGP

Dani Pedrosa – knackered shoulder from his accident with Simoncelli and then his fall down the stairs, or whatever it was. Has just had another operation…

Cal Crutchlow – knackered collar bone, worse than first thought and not helped that it wasn’t operated on until a few days after his qualifying accident

Colin Edwards – 17 screws and a plate in his collar bone – not that you’d tell. They breed ’em tough in Texas

Ben Spies – beaten up after his race crash in the wet at Silverstone

Randy de Puniet – suffered an ongoing ankle injury at Catalunya

Julina Simon – Kenan Sofuoglo helped to smash Simon’s leg into a million pieces

WSB

Jonathan Rea – his recovery from a broken arm at Misano isn’t going to be easy. He’ll miss Brno and Silverstone will be sore

Max Biaggi – suffered a few crashes of late, the last one at Misano hurt his ankle

Troy Corser – banged his hip big time at Misano, hopes to be fit for Aragon

Leon Halsam – broke a toe in a Misano highside

James Toseland – still suffering long term injury

Michel Fabrizio – injured his arm at Misano

BSB

Stuart Easton – ruined himself at the North West, he’s sitting out the season

Tommy Hill – starting to recover after his Oulton Park incident

Al Fagan – scratched his knee
