Yamaha have finally released images of their MotoGP livery for 2013, with some lovely shots of champion Jorge Lorenzo and ex-champion Valentino Rossi and their brand new steeds.
Unsurprisingly, there are more pictures of Valentino than Jorge right now, as the Yamaha marketing department make the absolute most of his return. As they pretty much said themselves just a couple of weeks ago – Valentino is for selling bikes, Jorge is for winning races and titles.

Now, that might make the odd Rossi fan a bit unhappy to hear, but then it’ll make it all the sweeter when he starts banging in the wins, won’t it? Or, will he? Just part of what makes this season genuinely exciting is the mystery of Rossi and how he will fare.
Let’s just pray MotoGP lives up to the hype this season, and that we actually stay awake during the races this year!
As for Yamaha’s new colours, any Yamaha riders out there looking to make any replicas? New livery is smart, we reckons.
