Nothing beats a good thrash on the way to work in the morning, with Tarmac drenched in the summer sun, laughing at the cars stacked in mile-long jams. Well, as soon as the weather sorts itself out…
Monday 17th of June has been tagged International Ride to Work Day, encouraging riders across the nation to, er, ride to work en masse and promote the benefits of two-wheel commuting.
Let’s face it; any commute in and out of towns and cities is painful. With more and more of us travelling further for work, commuting can take up a sizeable chunk of the day, and rising fuel prices and rail fares, increasing traffic congestion, public transport delays and parking nightmares are screwing us financially.
We’re sure if everyone makes an effort, it’ll be a fun ride in that morning!
