The Ace Café awning was a busy place at Motorcycle Live, displaying a host of whacky one-offs and custom builds. This is the Krazy Horse Krazy Racer, featuring an S&S 100 cubic inch Buell motor housed as part of an aluminum monocoque chassis. There’s Öhlins suspension front and back, with Harris yokes gripping the fork and a billet swingarm supports the rear. A massive 240-tyre sitting on an 18-inch spoked rim royally buggers the handling but looks cool.
Remember ‘Stumpy’, Pipe Werx’ badass GSX-R 1000? This is a new creation from the northern exhaust manufacture, tagged ‘Latte Racer’ based on a ZX-10R. Featuring a Z1 seat unit and some subtle additions (the dash is mounted on the tank), there’s also an all-new Pipe Werx coned can that ensures it’ll shatter the noise testers’ glasses at a trackday. We like.
The 2013 British GP at Silvertone was a belter in all classes and even conjured up some of the best racing in MotoGP all season. Moto2 will be remembered for Scott Redding’s victory on his special liveried Kalex, and his dodgy wolf impression in front of the fans. You can see Scott’s MarcVDS bike on the Silverstone stand
