Kawasaki ZX-10R racers and keen trackday riders now have easy access to changing the KTRC traction control on the fly, as Bike Sport Developments has created these funky 5-way switches. Designed as a direct replacement for the standard switchgear on the left ‘bar, the buttons plug directly into the standard loom (and the kit version) with no cutting or modifying – although the indicator function will be disabled, hence the track-only suitability. Other features include pit limiter and lap timer.
Made from a rugged aluminium construction and fully waterproof, the switches also alleviate the massive hassle of adjusting power modes, not to mention making your Ninja’s cockpit less cluttered. There’s also a 2-way switch available that solely adjusts TC and power modes, and also fits the ZX-6R. The 5-way is priced at £349.00, while the 2-way is £169.99.
Mick at Bike Sport Developments knows his onions and has spent years in many race paddock worldwide. He’s currently working on a universal ride-by-wire system for bike like the Fireblade and even KTM RC8R, which we hope to try out soon.
