This is the new MV Agusta Dragster, and this is our first look at it in the flesh. We’re with MV Agusta at the launch of the Dragster at the Paul Ricard circuit, although I don’t think track work is part of the plan – especially given the weather forecast…
We’ve got the press conference in the morning, so we’ll know more then, but it’s clear that it shares much with the rest of the F3 and Brutale three cylinder family. The Dragster uses the inline 800 engine and exhaust, although we’ll have to see if it’s come straight out of the B3 or Rivale or whether it has its own tune.
It looks different, we’ll give it that. This is the handy work of Adrian Morton, MV’s styling chief. And we reckon he’s done an awesome job on it. It’s certainly in a class of its won, but we’ll have more to say on the matter after we’ve had a ride around the brilliant roads of Paul Ricard.
