WSB Phillip Island – Kel Edge Gallery

WSB Gallery – Phillip Island:

No major spoilers here, in case you’re yet to watch the racing, just some mighty fine images from the legendary Kel Edge, of the first proper racing action of 2015.

What we can say is  – and what action that was! WSB rarely disappoints, nor does the fast and curvy circuit down-under, but this was rather special nonetheless. Real edge of the seat stuff, hard fought and uber exciting. Here are some great images from the event, enjoy…

Alright, smiler?

Troy did manage to mix it up with some of the best current WSB racers around. Top man!
Camier pitAB3Z2545
Both of these men carry much responsiblity for the MV Agusta effort succeeding in 2015

Job done for round one, for Camier, we’d venture.

To think, at this point we didn’t know just how amazing the action was to be…

Canepa was doing EBR proud in race one. Note – traditional brake set-up, his team-mate/manager stuck with the rim disc.

Close racing, like always with WSB
Torres pitAB3Z2527
Torres is one to watch this year, bet on it. Looks like he fancies a nap here, mind you!

Slipstream ahoy!
Rea pitAB3Z2524
Johnny is not in right now, please leave a message after the beep. Beeeep…
R1grpAB3Z2891
Looks like Rea and Haslam rather like their new rides – A lot of clean(ish) but aggressive moves went down over both races. Just how we like it!
VdMark crashAB3Z4964
As spoiler-ific as we’ll get. Nevertheless, the boy was on it!

They say racing needs characters, and yes they can spice things up especially when the racing is boring. But then, who gives a damn when the on-track action is as close and hard as this? Not us…

It’s the boys! Add two with Toni Elias & Ayrton Badavini joining the fray on their BMWs soon.

Thank you Kel for such great snaps, you da man!

WSB goes to Thailand next, in four weeks time, and we cannot wait!
