MotoGP 2017 – Sachsenring – Gallery

by

Already missing MotoGP? It’s going to be a long summer break for us hardcore fans, so in the meantime here’s a super gallery of images from the last race in Germany for you to enjoy.

It wasn’t a classic race, although it did show a lot of promise early doors and up until about half race distance, with Jonas Folger treating his home crowd by taking the lead and then scrapping with Marc Marquez until the triple-champ’s quality shone through, and Folger’s rear Michelin cried enough.

Folger took a brilliant second place, otherwise, after a superb, barnstorming race at Assen the weekend before, the German round had a lot to live up to. It didn’t, but was still interesting nonetheless…

Dovi worked his way through the pack…
… while Zarco had an proper ‘off’ weekend!
Rins continued his comeback…
…while Lorenzo showed well at the start before fading. He’ll get it right sooner or later!
Iannone is apparently not loved much in the Suzuki garage right now…
… but you can bet this man is in the Tech Trois box!
We thought it was going to be an epic scrap…
… but then we thought the Doc may have done better after his Assen Victory, too!
Vinales came from 11th to steal past his team-mate…
… and soon had the measure of Rossi!
The best part of the weekend – well done Jonas!
