WOW. Just look at it. This is a limited-edition, celebratory version of the legendary MV Agusta F4, named for the firm’s saviour, Claudio Castiglioni. Claudio died in 2011, after a lifetime in the Italian bike business, running Cagiva, Ducati, Husqvarna – and most famously, MV Agusta.
This final edition of the F4 – there’ll be an all new superbike coming soon from Agusta – is a work of art. Carbon everywhere, beautiful black and gold colourscheme, a 212bhp 1,000 cc inline-four motor, and the very best in chassis jewellery means it will go like utter stink we bet. Sadly, most of the 175kg (dry mass with the suplied SC Projects race exhaust) weapons will end up under dust sheets in collectors’ garages. Booooh.
We’ll have more on the F4 Claudio in the next issue of Fast Bikes’ print magazine. In the meantime, bow your head to one of the true legends of the bike industry, and soak up the beauty of this amazing piece of moto-art.
