New chassis tweaks, electronics and M-package goodies for the S1000RR, plus stacks of new colours, and chassis upgrades across loads of other bikes in the range
July 1st? Where is the year going? Now, it might seem a little bit early for 2022 model news, but when they’re saucy upgrades for the BMW S1000RR, we’ll make an exception. Kicking off with the S1000RR, there’s a new colourway – Passion with Mineral grey metallic finishes. The ‘M’ Chassis kit is now new as standard, and includes the adjustable swinging pivot point. There’s a new range of add-on packages too: a ‘Dynamic’ package with Riding Modes Pro, DDC, cruise control, heated grips, ‘Race’ package with M Endurance chain and sports silencer or M Titanium exhaust system, and an ‘M’ package with M Sports seat, M lightweight battery, M GPS laptrigger, M carbon or forged wheels and a new black tank cover.
Finally, there’s a new Billet pack with M brake and foldable clutch lever, M rearsets, M Brake lever guard. The ‘Sports’ package is dropped, all packages are combinable, and the two M wheel variants can be ordered as single option for each colour.
Got that? Good!
Elsewhere, there are new Triple Black colourschemes for the S1000XR, R1250 RT, G310 GS, F900XR, and the F750/850 GS/Adventure models, offroad tyre options on the RnineT Urban G/S, and heaps of teeny tiny cosmetic updates for the R18, R1250 GS, R1250 RS, G310 R and F900 R.
All the updates are available to order from your local friendly BMW dealer from August 2021. More deets: www.bmw-motorrad.co.uk
