If you are on the Isle of Man right now for practice and qualifying keep an eye out on Tuesday 31st May and Wednesday 1st June as Michael Rutter conducts a very special road test for Fast Bikes Magazine.
This unique test is scheduled for the final lap of Tuesday and Wednesday night Michael Rutter will be answering the question for team Fast Bikes, just how fast can a Naked Bike be around the full TT course?
With seven TT race victories to his name Rutter is the perfect pilot to steer the Metzeler shod ‘Beast’ from Austria, the KTM 1290 Super Duke R Evo around the closed roads of the circuit following the sidecars on Tuesday and Wednesday night.
The KTM will be in race-shift for Michael’s convenience with the only other modification from standard being a tasty loud pipe which is for your convenience….. when you hear it approaching please grab your cameras and phones and capture the KTM flying past.
We will be featuring the laps in Fast Bikes Magazine (on-sale 2nd August) and if you have supplied us with any footage featured in either the article, or for the video due on Fast Bikes YouTube Channel, there will be a prize drawn at random.
Any choice footage you get please forward to us in any of the following ways:
- Pop down to Rutters Bathams Racing Truck in the paddock and ask for John McAvoy.
- Email Bruce, Fast Bikes Editor via [email protected]
- Or go direct to the mag via social @fastbikesmag on Twitter or Facebook @FastBikesMagazine.
We look forward to seeing Michaels Results as well as yours….. our thanks in advance!
Further thanks to the sponsors of this test.
