Over 50,000! That’s pretty mad for a little factory in Bologna, isn’t it? For the whole of 2019, Ducati sold 53,183 bikes around the glove, with Italy remaining as the number one market. Shocker.
Surprisingly though, Brazil, Spain and France had a massive increase in sales, with 20%, 10% and 8% respectively, while America went down 2% – although the whole motorcycling market has dropped by 7%.
The biggest point here for us though? A major contribution to their sales once again came from their Panigale, with a whopping 8,304 bikes sold last year. That makes it the current world’s best-selling superbike with a market share of 25%. 25%!

They’ve also had a record number of advance orders for the new Streetfighter V4 which is due in March (over 1,700 at the time we went to print!), and we cannot wait to get our hands on one…
